North Lancs & Fylde Lady Presidents day 2026

Sunday 2nd August 2026 saw us celebrate our Lady President Kath Watkinson at her home green Bretherton Bowling Club, which brought us a very tricky green with the splendid weather that we have been having this year. Bretherton Bowling Green was a challenge to most players but as each round went on the players rose to the challenge and displayed some excellent bowling keeping the crowd entertained.

The final was contested by Debbie Watters and Sarah Edmondson. Many congratulations to Debbie, who proved triumphant and takes the title for 2026.

North Lancs & Fylde Ladies County Merit 2026

Sunday 24th May 2026 saw a glorious day of bowling at St. Annes Ex Servicemen’s Bowling Club for the NL&F Ladies County Merit Competition.  

Sarah Edmondson proved victorious on the day beating Andrea Holt in the final making this Sarah’s 3^rd time as the North Lancs & Fylde Ladies County Merit winner and Sarah will now represent NL&F at the BCGBA Ladies Senior Merit on Saturday 11th July at Pennfields Bowling & Social Club, Wolverhampton and the BCGBA Ladies Champion of Champions.

Dorothy Piearce Ladies Pairs – Saturday 25th April – Fox Lane Sports & Social Club, Leyland

Fox Lane were the hosts for this years NLFCBA Ladies Dorothy Piearce Pairs. The final and result was a repeat of the 2025 competition with Debbie Watters and Tracey Livesey defeating Joan Beer and Wendy Harris 21 – 13.
