North Lancs & Fylde County Team Competition 2026
This years County team competition (Semi Finals & Final) was held on Saturday 19th September at Longridge Conservative Club. The Semi finals saw Two Gates beat Singleton BC and Hambleton beat Sydney Street BC.
The final was contested by Hambleton and Two Gates BC, Hambleton came out as victors with a 19 chalk lead winning the competition for the second year running.
Both Hambleton and Two gates will qualify for the BCGBA finals in 2027.
North Lancs & Fylde Centenary Mixed Pairs Saturday 29th August 2026 at Broughton and District Club
Stuart Tipping and Laura Saunders won this years NLFCBA Centenary Mixed Pairs competition beating father daughter partnership Darren and Emily James in the final. Many thanks to Broughton and District Club for hosting the event.
Both pairs will now qualify for the BCGBA Centenary mixed pairs to be held at Fleetwood BC on Saturday 3rd October 2026, good luck to both pairs in the finals day.

North Lancs & Fylde Jack and Jean Isherwood Veterans Competition 2026
On Friday 5th June 2026 the annual Jack and Jean Isherwood Veterans competition took place at Hambleton Bowling Club.
There was a strong field displaying some excellent bowling during the day, Paul Wilson came through to win the competition beating Andrew Jarrold in the final.
Paul and Andrew will be joined by John Coupe one of our losing semi finalist to represent NL&F at the BCGBA Jack & Jean Isherwood Veterans Championship at Prees Recreation Club, Shropshire on Wednesday 1st July
North Lancs & Fylde Hugh Hornby Senior Individual County Merit
Saturday 23rd May 2026 saw a glorious day of bowling at Broughton Sports and Social Club as the qualifying 32 bowlers competed for the trophy and a place in the All-England Senior Individual Merit competition at the Northern Club, Merseyside on Saturday 25th July.
Simon Coupe proved victorious on the day beating Jonathan Lacey in the final making this Simons’ 5th time as the North Lancs & Fylde County Bowling Association County Merit winner.
Simon and Jonathan will be joined by Andrew Fleming & Steve Atkinson, the losing Semi-finalists to represent NL&F as our qualifiers for the All-England Senior Individual Merit competition.
Thank you to the 133 bowlers who entered this competition.
North Lancs & Fylde Champion of League Champions
David Kay (Woodplumton League) was the winner of North Lancs & Fylde County Bowling Association Champion of League Champions 2026.
In an excellent final Dave won 21-19 against Steve Parker (Morecambe League)

NLFCBA Vice President Paul Ferguson presented the prizes.
