2026 Competitions Results

On Friday 5th June 2026 the annual Jack and Jean Isherwood Veterans competition took place at Hambleton Bowling Club.

There was a strong field displaying some excellent bowling during the day, Paul Wilson came through to win the competition beating Andrew Jarrold in the final.

Paul and Andrew will be joined by John Coupe one of our losing semi finalist to represent NL&F at the BCGBA Jack & Jean Isherwood Veterans Championship at Prees Recreation Club, Shropshire on Wednesday 1st July

Saturday 23rd May 2026 saw a glorious day of bowling at Broughton Sports and Social Club as the qualifying 32 bowlers competed for the trophy and a place in the All-England Senior Individual Merit competition at the Northern Club, Merseyside on Saturday 25th July.

Simon Coupe proved victorious on the day beating Jonathan Lacey in the final making this Simons’ 5th time as the North Lancs & Fylde County Bowling Association County Merit winner.

Simon and Jonathan will be joined by Andrew Fleming & Steve Atkinson, the losing Semi-finalists  to represent NL&F as our qualifiers for the All-England Senior Individual Merit competition.

Thank you to the 133 bowlers who entered this competition.

David Kay (Woodplumton League) was the winner of North Lancs & Fylde County Bowling Association Champion of League Champions 2026.

In an excellent final Dave won 21-19 against Steve Parker (Morecambe League)
