On Sunday 18th February, the North Lancs & Fylde County AGM is being held at the Canberra Club, Samlesbury, BB2 7LF.
Prior to the AGM, ‘Developing Your Club’ workshop will be presented by our County Development Officer, Steve Clamp.
The workshop will commence at 11:00am followed by the AGM, starting at approximately 12:15pm.

The Annual NLFCBA Financial report will be sent out via email to all Clubs & League secretaries separately by the County Financial Officer.
We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.
Bowls Buddies have today launched a ‘Guide to Successful Grant Funding’
The guide is a comprehensive support tool for Clubs on how to go through the funding process, along with a substantial list (albeit not exhaustive) of potential funding providers.

The policy cover period now runs annually from 1st January to the 31st December 2024. Combined Sports Liability is the basic entry level of cover that the majority of clubs/leagues purchase.

Following the Extraordinary General Meeting held at Broughton & District Club on Sunday 19th November 2023, all member affiliated NLFCBA clubs in attendance voted unanimously in favour of the amalgamation of the North & Lancs & Fylde County Bowling Association and the North & Lancs & Fylde County Ladies Bowling Association. This will take place with immediate effect.

Safeguarding Courses and DBS Renewals
North Lancs & Fylde CBA County Safeguarding Officer, Sue Sinclair, will be holding a Safeguarding Course and DBS Certificate Renewal on the weekend of the 25th/26th November at the following locations and times:

DBS Renewal is Free
Safeguarding Course is £15 for the first person from the club and £5 for the second person.

Note: Anyone attending the course and for DBS renewal will need to bring with them a form of photo ID, Driving Licence/Passport and copy of a utility bill with home address.
DBS certificates need to renewed every 3yrs from the date of issue.
