2025 BCGBA VETERANS COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP

North Lancs & Fylde Veterans team put in a fantastic and dominating team performance to qualify for the BCGBA Veterans County Championship finals for the second year in succession. After defeating the hosts Merseyside in the first match, they followed this up with wins against Lancashire and Cumbria. The team had a total 19 individual wins from 24 games, which is another great achievement. Next up is the finals on Thursday 7th August

2024 BCGBA VETERANS COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP – RESULTS
Region 1 – Thursday 11th July 2024
North Lancs & Fylde Vets team competed in the qualifying event at The Bay Horse Bowling Club, Adlington against Lancashire (Hosts), Merseyside, and Cumbria in a series of round-up robin matches. After three matches the team topped the group, just edging out Merseyside, and now go through to finals at Knutsford Bowling Club on Thursday 1st August where they will compete against Greater Manchester, Shropshire and Yorkshire.

North Lancs & Fylde Vets team put in a spirited performance at the BCGBA Veteran’s County Championship finals; defeating Greater Manchester and Shropshire, but losing out to the unbeaten winners of the competition, Yorkshire in the round robin matches. Very well done to the team and a fantastic achievement against some strong opposition.
